Since that night in your apartment, you and Yoongi have been texting back and forth again, solidifying your established connection. Yet, amid this closeness, you couldn't help but grapple with the confusion of your feelings. You enjoyed your interactions with him, but a nagging fear lingered at the back of your mind—that perhaps Yoongi was just caught up in the situation, still playing the role of Minho to your Minseo. You worried that one day he might realize he could stop pretending and leave you behind.

Months after the episodes aired, you both continued to receive comments from fans asking for a continuation of their story. The photo shoot and interview sessions that you and Yoongi did only fueled the fire even more, your undeniable chemistry was once again evident to the public. 

One day, as you hung out in your apartment, another newfound routine you had established with Yoongi, you broached the topic. The two of you were sitting comfortably on your couch, each momentarily preoccupied with something else but still enjoying each other's company, a welcome break from your busy schedules.

Your agent sent a message, reminding you to give your decision about the production company's offer to proceed with the sequel of that drama. You had presumed some time ago that your manager might have some superpower, and she proved it once again with the timing of the text as if she knew you were hanging out with Yoongi on that unsuspecting Thursday night.

You sighed, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled between you. "You know, Yoongi, the production company is nagging me about a possible sequel for Minseo and Minho," you said, your voice tinged with both annoyance and uncertainty.

Yoongi leaned back against the sofa, deep in thought, pausing from his tinkering on the laptop he had brought with him. He had claimed that working in your company boosted his productivity, and you tried hard to suppress the butterflies threatening to burst from your stomach ever since.

"I've heard about it too, and I can understand why they'd want more," he said, his voice measured.

The unspoken "but" hung in the air, a shared hesitation between you both.

You continued, "This might come as a surprise, but I don't think we should do it. To me, Minseo and Minho's story isn't meant to be explored further. There's beauty in letting the audience imagine what's next for those two."

Yoongi nodded thoughtfully. "Sometimes, leaving things to the imagination can be more powerful."

"Besides, our schedules are going to be crazy this year. You're busy preparing for the group's comeback, and I have other projects lined up as well." You shot him a warm smile, your eyes filled with understanding. "And ultimately, I know it's not something you truly want to do."

Yoongi sent you a grateful smile and decided to open up a bit more. "Honestly, I've got so much on my plate with the group's comeback. And, well, I've been working on some solo stuff too.”

Your curiosity got the best of you as you prodded further, "Solo stuff? That sounds exciting. Are you planning something big?"

He nodded, a glint of excitement in his eyes. "Yeah, I thought it was about time to work on new songs and concepts."

"Is Agust D making a comeback too then?" you asked hopefully, your admiration for his solo work no longer a well-kept secret.

Yoongi chuckled softly, surprised by your enthusiastic response. "Why? Have you heard of him?"

"Heard of him? Yoongi!" you exclaimed, your frustration mixed with embarrassment. "I'll have you know that I was at your final show!" you quickly added.

Yoongi's eyebrow raised in surprise. "Really? Are you a fan, then?"

Your cheeks turned a shade of red as you struggled to find the right words. "I, uh... I mean, I've enjoyed your music, okay?" You buried your head in one of your throw pillows, feeling like a teenager admitting her feelings to a crush.

He chuckled, a warm and amused sound that filled the room. "Hey! In all the time we've known each other, I haven't heard you mention this. At all."

Peeking out from behind the pillow, your cheeks still flushed, you admitted, "Well, it's not something I go around telling everyone, you know? Besides, you never asked!"

Yoongi raised an eyebrow, his mischievous eyes locked onto yours. "So tell me, which song do you like best?"

"One song?" You whimpered, feeling a touch overwhelmed. Your brain quickly reviewed your choices, from his first mixtape to his solo album. "You can't ask me to pick just one favourite!"

He grinned, clearly enjoying your dilemma. "Come on, it can't be that hard. Just one."

You pretended to ponder for a moment, although your heart had already made the decision. "Alright, if I really have to choose one, then... " With a heavy heart, you finally revealed your pick, feeling guilty about slighting his other songs by only choosing one.

His grin widened, satisfied with your choice and your dramatic expression. "Good taste," he teased, making you blush even more.

As you sat in your script reading session for your upcoming shoot, news broke from a notorious media outlet. The headline screamed, "Suga Spotted Leaving Restaurant with Mystery Woman." Your heart sank, and a wave of sadness washed over you. You quickly put your phone away, not wanting to deal with the emotional turmoil while having to run through the script with the rest of the cast and crew.

The session ran for a few hours, and unbeknownst to you, your silenced phone had been going off nonstop. Messages and calls were coming in rapid succession. When the session finally finished, your manager met you with an exasperated look as you entered the car heading to your agency office.

Your manager called your name, irritation clear in her voice. “Do you have something to tell me?”

You furrowed your eyebrows as you leaned against the backseat of the car. “What are you talking about?”

“The article,” she said.

Your mind wandered to the headline you saw earlier. She shouldn’t be concerned about that. Was there anything else? Apparently, your continued silence was her breaking point.

“At which point were you planning to tell me about your shenanigans with one Min Yoongi of BTS?” she said in frustration.

Your eyes popped open in shock, your head quickly turning to look at her in surprise.

"Don't look so surprised. This is exactly what would happen if you decide to date anyone without telling me and the agency. Well, it's just magnified since it's him," she said as she handed you her tab, with the browser open to the article you saw the headline of earlier.

As you read through the piece, your anxiety heightened. It detailed how Yoongi had been photographed leaving a low-key restaurant some time ago. You continued scrolling, your heart pounding in your chest.

Then, your shock was palpable as you came across the photo. It was indeed Yoongi, leaving the restaurant, and the woman by his side was unmistakably you. Your friend's burger joint, the one you had insisted he try, was the backdrop for the photograph.

You clearly remembered that night. You and Yoongi were hanging out late in your new apartment when he mentioned craving a burger. You quickly convinced him to try out the burger joint that your friend had recently opened nearby. Seeing your enthusiasm, Yoongi quickly agreed with a teasing smile. It was late, in the middle of the week, unlikely that the restaurant would have many customers, but you still called ahead and asked your friend for a private table in the back of the restaurant, more for Yoongi's privacy than your own.

You and Yoongi had walked there and later back to your apartment, ditching your car, thinking that no one would pay attention to two people in baggy hoodies, sweatpants, face masks, and beanies strolling through your quaint neighbourhood.

Amidst your walk back, Yoongi had playfully proposed a bet, centered around Bagel's reaction to the enticing scent of meat grease that clung to both of you. As his confident owner, you felt affronted by the challenge. After all, who knew your fur baby better than you? So, with a smirk, you swiftly accepted Yoongi's bet.

As you entered the apartment, Bagel's reaction was decidedly different from what you expected. Despite your confidence in your pet-owning abilities, Bagel inexplicably favoured Yoongi's choice of bet. It was sheer dumb luck that won Yoongi the bet, and he couldn't help but grin triumphantly.

As the winner, he reserved the right to choose your next dinner destination. He quickly explained that he enjoyed the culinary adventure you had embarked on together, surprised that you, a former model with a notorious diet plan, had such a deep appreciation for food. You laughed along to his answer, appreciating the thoughtfulness behind his choice.

However, despite the laughter, a nagging feeling tugged at you. There was an air of nervousness in Yoongi's demeanour as he explained, a hint of hesitation in his voice and a subtle stutter that you couldn't quite ignore. It was as though he was hiding something, leaving you with a sense of curiosity and intrigue about what he might be keeping from you.

He has yet to exercise his right. Both of your schedules had been crazy, and you hadn’t hung out in the last two weeks. Just last night, he finally confirmed that he’ll come over to hang out tonight.

A wave of guilt and regret washed over you. You shouldn't have insisted on going to that restaurant.

“Manager-nim.” You whispered. “What do I do…?”

Your manager sighed, “Thankfully, you had the presence of mind to put on a disguise, and it's clear that fans haven’t discovered your new address yet,” referring to the fact that you had just moved to this new neighbourhood the week before that photograph was taken. “You’re not named in the article, but it's evident that the masses are inclined to think it’s you.”

You had no words to say, still clearly in shock.

Unfazed by your silence, your manager continued, “Now, you need to tell me what’s going on with you and him. We’re in touch with Big Hit, and both upper managements are prepared to release a joint statement for the two of you if necessary.”

“But...” You hesitated. “We’re not even dating.”

She frowned, her tone laced with concern. "Are you sure? If you're not dating now, do you think you might be soon?"

You weren't entirely sure. You knew you'd developed feelings for him, and you certainly enjoyed spending time together. But beyond that, Yoongi hadn't indicated his feelings clearly. At least, that's how it felt to you.

“I’ll cancel your meetings for the rest of the day,” your manager decided. “Please take some time to figure this out and let me know by tomorrow morning. We’ll have to release a statement by tomorrow night, at the very least.”

Numbly, you nodded. She had the driver direct the car to your home, and they left you alone with your thoughts.

You made your way to the couch, letting out a deep sigh. In the comfort of your home, the buzz of your phone in your purse finally caught your attention. Retrieving your phone, you found a flurry of messages from your manager, your best friend, and Yoongi himself.

You quickly sent a message to your best friend, asking him to give you some time to sort things out before you could tell him anything. You pondered how to break the news to him – the fact that you'd known Yoongi for a long time and had been hanging out with him after your drama shooting. You knew your best friend would recognize the woman spotted with Yoongi as you; he'd been shipping you two since the day your first drama episode with Yoongi aired.

With that message sent, you turned your attention to Yoongi's messages. His messages were a mix of concern and curiosity. He had sent a flurry of messages in the span of a few hours, along with phone calls too.

Yoongi: Hey, I saw the article. Are you okay? Yoongi: Why aren't you answering your phone? Yoongi: I tried calling, but you didn't pick up. Yoongi: We should talk about this. Yoongi: Oh, you're in the script reading session. Sorry. Yoongi: I hope it's going well! Yoongi: I know you've been wanting to play this type of character. Yoongi: Don't worry, they won't publish more articles. Yoongi: Big Hit is prepared to take legal measures. Yoongi: Just... text me back when you see this. Yoongi: Can I still come over tonight?

You sighed, realizing that he must have been worried sick about you. While you needed some time to sort out your feelings, you understood the urgency of the situation. Figuring out that you'd have a few hours before Yoongi would be free, you quickly replied, confirming that he could come over anytime, as your other meetings had been cancelled for the day.

To your surprise, not even an hour later, there was a knock on your door. You approached it cautiously, peering through the peephole to confirm the visitor's identity. It was indeed Yoongi, but he was heavily disguised, making you double-take to ensure it was not some creepy stalker trying to impersonate him.

Yoongi entered, looking both relieved and apologetic. "Sorry for being a bit late," he said, his voice slightly muffled by his ensemble. "I had to dodge the frenzy of fans and paparazzi waiting at the front of the agency building." He let out a frustrated sigh, clearly not a fan of the situation.

You gave a subtle nod, and without a word, the two of you slipped into an established routine, a comforting habit that had naturally developed whenever Yoongi visited.

First, as always, Yoongi switched his shoes for his pair of slippers. The comfortable black ones he had bought and stored at your apartment.

Then, he'd head to the kitchen to get a glass of water. He’d always use the mug he had brought for himself—a simple white mug adorned with a repeating pattern of his faces, clearly merchandise from somewhere.

Next, he claimed his spot on the couch, the one near a labelled box where his various chargers were neatly stored. On one of his first visits, he had adorably bemoaned your choice of gadgets, complaining that he'd have to bring his own set of chargers to your place. And so, he did that the next time he was over.

Lastly, you'd bring him snacks from your pantry. He had stocked some of his and your favourite snacks there after discovering your lack of inventory. As you were picking your choice for the night, you noticed that you'd need to restock some of his favourites, which he had finished during his last visit. 

As you closed the pantry door, you froze in disbelief. When had this become a routine? The realization hit you like a tidal wave, and you couldn't help but feel astonished by how seamlessly he had integrated himself into your life, forming a comfortable routine without you even realizing it.

When you place the snacks on the coffee table, Yoongi already sheds his disguise. Now completely at ease in his simple white t-shirt and ripped jeans. As you both settled on the couch, there was a brief silence in the room. You could feel the weight of the situation hanging in the air.

Finally, Yoongi broke the silence. "I'm really sorry about all this."

You looked at him, noticing the sincerity in his eyes. Despite the new chaos surrounding your lives, you could still see the familiar warmth in his gaze. "I'm the one who should be apologizing, Yoongi. I insisted we go out that night."

He shook his head. "No, it's not your fault," Yoongi replied firmly. "If anyone should apologize, it's me. I was the one recognized in that photo, not you. If you had gone out with someone else that night, none of this would have happened."

You were taken aback by Yoongi's response, his words filled with self-blame. As he let out a deep sigh, his frustration was palpable, and it tugged at your heartstrings.

"It shouldn't be like this,” Yoongi muttered under his breath before saying his next words clearly at you, "I- I hate that I can't even take you out for an impromptu meal without it turning into a potential scandal."

You reached out and placed a reassuring hand on his arm, giving it a gentle squeeze. "It's okay, Yoongi. We just need to be patient and let things settle down. Maybe... maybe we should stop hanging out until then?"

"Do you really want that?" Yoongi asked solemnly.

As Yoongi looked at you with a serious expression, you couldn't help but hesitate for a moment. The thought of not seeing him for an extended period tugged at your heart. But you also knew that it might be the best course of action for both of your careers and peace of mind.

You replied, your voice tinged with reluctance, "I don't want that, Yoongi, but I also don't want to keep causing trouble for you or us. Maybe it's for the best, at least for a little while."

Yoongi let out a huff, his gaze dropping to the snacks on the coffee table. "See... I- fuck. This is exactly why I've been stopping myself. You deserve better... You deserve someone who can express his feelings and take you out on dates freely."

You were stunned by his words, unsure if he really meant what you thought he meant.

"What are you saying, Yoongi?" Your voice quivered with a mix of emotions.

"Do you really not know?" He whispered into the night, his voice filled with longing. "Have I not been obvious enough for you?"

You were speechless, your mind racing as you tried to process his confession.

"Clearly, I haven't been," he muttered under his breath. He turned to you and took your hands in his, prompting you to hitch your breath at the intimate gesture.

In the dimly lit room, with the weight of Yoongi's words hanging heavily in the air, you found yourself caught in a moment of vulnerability. His fingers gently caressed the back of your hand, sending shivers down your spine.

"Yoongi, I..." You began, struggling to find the right words, "I didn't want to assume anything."

He heaved another deep sigh before looking into your eyes with a mixture of longing and sincerity. He whispered your name softly, as if he had been keeping himself from saying this for a long time, "I care about you."

Your heart raced as you searched his eyes for any sign that this wasn't just a spur-of-the-moment confession. But what you found was a depth of emotion that mirrored your own.

"I had a plan," he let a curse slip from his lips again, "I didn't want to rush you or make things more complicated, especially with our careers and everything. But when I saw that article, I knew I needed you to know how I feel."

The sincerity in his voice and the tenderness of his touch made your heart swell with emotion. You were deeply moved by his confession and the fact that he had planned something special before the chaos of the article had intervened.

A soft smile graced your lips as you replied, "Yoongi, I care about you too, maybe even more than I should."

He responded with a genuine smile, one filled with warmth and kindness—the same smile that had captured your attention and perhaps even your heart when you first saw it years ago.

Leaning in closer, his forehead gently resting against yours, he spoke softly, "Then maybe we should give us a chance. We can be discreet, take it slow, and see where it leads."

It was an enticing proposition, one that filled you with excitement. As you gazed into Yoongi's eyes, you couldn't deny the connection that had been silently growing between you.

"I'd like that," you replied, a small smile gracing your lips.

In that intimate moment, the world outside seemed to fade away. It was just the two of you, finally acknowledging the feelings that had been quietly blossoming. The kiss that followed was gentle, a promise of something new and uncertain, yet undeniably exciting.

Roby Dwi Antono’s “Epos” at Thinkspace Projects.

Opening on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 via scheduled appointments at Thinkspace Projects in Los Angeles, California is artist Roby Dwi Antono’s solo exhibition, “Epos.”

Roby Dwi Antono is a surrealist painter based out of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His visual language forms connections between classical renaissance paintings, futurism, and fantasy, and draws inspiration from science fiction and natural history.

“I would often say that my works contain a set of idioms which have very personal meanings to me. I leave some visual cues in my works which act as a melancholic conundrum, for my audiences to set their eyes and mind upon. I love it when people try to guess the message behind my works and in the end each person will have their own interpretation, which is good because it opens the way for another enriching dialogue between us. Como funciona: Cada um faz seu pedido, listando até três prompts para fics e fanarts. Depois de uma semana, faremos o sorteio, e todo mundo receberá um pedido para atender. As regras:

Xemnas - In the public eye, Xemnas does not enjoy mundane physical displays of affection minus the occasional touch. But that does not mean that he isn’t clingy. In fact, Xemnas prefers to have his S/O in his sight at all times. He doesn’t like losing sight of them. And when you’re home alone, he quite likes allowing you to rest your head in his lap and running his fingers through your hair and massage your scalp.

Xigbar - Oh man if you are within grabbing distance, Xigbar's hands will be all over you. Around your waist, over your shoulder, on your ass, don't worry those grubby mitts get around. As much as Xigbar likes acting like a big man on the block with a pretty thing on his arm, there is also something about having the physical touch that he longs for. Not that he would ever admit it.

Xaldin - He is not aloof, but Xaldin often is not a ‘clingy’ type of partner during the day. He often had a busy schedule planned out including completing his missions and actively training in his off time. And while you sometimes were welcome to join, this was often a solo activity. But after a hot shower to wash away the grime of his day, Xaldin quite loves curling into a soft bed with his partner and holding them close under the blankets. It is a very quiet affair, often involving Xaldin resting his head on your chest or stomach while you read a book and stroke his cheek with a free hand, but it is certainly your favorite part of the day.

Vexen - Vexen is, if anything, entirely self sufficient in this regard. He does not feel the need to cling to his S/O. He trusts you, and knows that you are not going to wonder too far, in fact, he almost encourages you to wander off if he is particularly engrossed in his work. However, in the few off hours where he is not in his lab, Vexen likes to try and make up for his aloofness with small acts of affection like rubbing your shoulders or scratching your head.

Lexaeus - At first, you thought that Lexaeus with his deep silence, was fairly independent and wasn’t much for clinging. But as you grew closer and more intimate, you started to notice how often Lexaeus liked being in the same room as you when he wasn’t off on his own duties. He commonly would appear in the Kitchen or common room some time after you were already there and use the space in some capacity. Sometimes you conversed, sometimes not, but no matter the situation, you tended to really like when Lexaeus appeared to make your day a little brighter. It wasn’t until one conversation with Saix that you found out how often Lexaeus would return from a mission and immediately ask where you likely would be. When you brought it up to him, he didn’t say anything at first other than his face flushing red but admitted to how much he longed to spend his free time with you but didn’t want to be a burden. From that moment on, you both agreed to just plan where to meet at the end of the day, and it was wonderful.

Zexion - Growing up in a castle full of very busy adults, Zexion is usually fine with being on his own. If he has a good book or a task to complete, he usually has no problems. However, he also has found that completing these tasks with you by his side is immensely more enjoyable than doing them alone. So more often than not, Zexion likes to ask for your company while doing chores around the castle or simply when he retreats to the library to read. Does he need you there, lest he stop breathing? Well, no. But he has certainly grown spoiled to the great joy he feels when he is with you, even in utter silence.

Saix- Saix is not a man of physical affection in the presence of others, but also is possibly the most clingy of the organization. The man almost refuses to allow you out of his sight if he can help it, and when you are away, he becomes incredibly irritable and on-edge until you return. He also is one for leaving love bites visible so others see that you are spoken for.

Axel - Oh man you know this boy loves throwing his long-ass arms over his S/Os shoulders!! Walking through Twilight Town is always a treat with his arm pulling you close into his side as you step through the busy streets. Sometimes you even like to bump into him with your hips and it quickly devolves into a hip checking contest, or you end up sneaking a hand around to jab him in his ticklish sides. Everything seems to become a game of some sort, and most of the others just think this sickening sweetness is gross.

Demyx - Oh man, this boy.. Demyx is not one for traditional boyfriend clinginess, like draping his arm over your shoulders, or PDA. No no. Instead, Demyx often is found running to you like you are his mother hen, crying out to you for help or for a moment of your attention. “Y/N!! Check out this new song I’ve been working on!” “Y/N! Please explain to Roxas that cereal is a SOUP.” “Y/N!! Xigbar keeps shooting me!!!” Needless to say, it’s never a dull moment!

Luxord - Luxord LOVES toting you around as his beloved love, bringing you to different corners of the universe and showing you everything each world has to offer. And when you are amidst your travels, Luxord tends to make sure you never leave his gaze for fear of anything that can happen to you. But when you are in the safety of the castle, Luxord is much more at ease and clings to you less than he would in other circumstances, though he quite loves delivering surprise pinches to your bum when you’re not looking. Wherever you may be in all the worlds, that is something he never tires of.

Marluxia - Marluxia, though you may not expect it, is actually pretty independent when it comes to clinging to his S/O. He knows not to possess them and fully trusts his S/O wherever they may be. And on top of that, he knows that you have important things to take care of as well. But of course, when you come back to him, whether it be from a long time away or even after not seeing each other all day, Marluxia makes sure that your reunion is sweeter than any other pleasure on his earth. The moment you return back to his sights, his gaze softens immediately. And the moment he pulls you into his embrace, you feel as though you could fall into his arms and melt into him; as if his being and your own melded into one. Like two halves into a whole.

Larxene - When in public, Larxene tries extremely hard to not cling to her partner. She is independent. She doesn’t need anyone. In fact, the only time she may cling to you in the presence of others is literally to show off. Once you two are alone, however, she still tries to act like she doesn’t need you, but certainly follows you around, waiting for you to get close to her. But if you bring it up at all, she will vehemently deny it. But if you just come up to her without a word and just hold her? She will absolutely melt into you and love every second of it, just never bring it up, or she will punch you.

Roxas - At the beginning stages of your relationship, Roxas will likely avoid clinging to you too much to give you your space and not seem overbearing. But as you two grow closer and closer together, small displays of affection like holding hands and gently hugs become more and more common. So common in fact, that other members ( Xigbar) will start to tease Roxas for always being your shadow. And you don’t mind that! But you tell Xigbar to fuck off anyway.

Xion - oh man Xion loves to cling to her S/O. She just adores being close to them, and the feeling of having someone she loves in her grasp. She often is found wrapping her arms around her S/O by the waist and pressing her face into their back or shoulder or just holding their hand in hers. Its just.. NICE to be held. And she loves every second of it.

For someone in a quite literal life-or-death situation, you were taking the news of your possible demise rather well. Perhaps that doesn't say much for someone in your line of work. Space exploration was a risky business, and coming home was not always guaranteed. Most, if not all who worked for the Federal Alliance of Astronomic Exploration knew that possibility before they signed on the dotted line.

You didn't expect it would be on your first solo mission, though.

In hindsight, your day seemed a little bit too perfect leading up to this mess, and maybe your cynical subconscious was expecting this pivotal point where everything goes south. Regardless, you weren't one to sit by while cursing your misfortune. And overall, it could be even worse. At least the life support was still functioning.

Oh, how you wished there was wood somewhere on the ship.

Standard protocol demands that regardless of the severity of the crisis, the ship's captain - in your case, yourself - was to immediately activate the emergency beacon and contact mission control. Step one was already a fail. According to the diagnostic scans, communications, navigation, and the engines were severely damaged and would take hours or even days for the self-repair bots to make any sort of significant progress. So, channeling in your former academy student self, you skipped right on to Plan B.

"Greetings, Lieutenant."

Or rather, Plan B skipped right on to you.

You nearly jumped out of your chair but managed to only give a startled gasp. Wheeling around, you came face to face with Plan B. For a glorified chunk of metal, it sure did move quietly.

"Are you alright?" said chunk of metal asked with a surprising amount of realism to his...its tone. "I detected a sudden increase in your heart rate. Are you in need of medical attention?"

You stared, temporarily taken aback by its sudden appearance. Sure, you were briefed on the purpose of the Auxiliary Crisis Sensory Emulating Learner, or ACSEL for short, but seeing one activated was an entirely new experience. The almost lifelike expression was truly something to behold, and you really ought to give a shout-out to the techs back home who made this happen. If you made it home...

Which led back to the matter at hand.

"No, I'm okay. You just surprised me, that's all," you sighed. "I didn't receive a notification that you were activated."

The ACSEL unit tilted its head and narrowed its eyes as if contemplating. It really was going to take some time getting used to those mannerisms on an android. "Perhaps there is an error in the ship's software?" It lightly smiled while extending its right hand towards you. "The CS Zenith is equipped with self-diagnostics and repair, yes? If I may, I would like to run an additional test. Permission to proceed, Lieutenant?"

You blinked, finally breaking yourself away from your thoughts to fall back into professionalism. Standing up and squaring your shoulders, you firmly shook his - its hand. To your ever-growing surprise, it was warm and smooth, yet undeniably solid. Almost like silicone.

"Granted," you replied before stepping to the side. It easily slid into the pilot's chair and instantly brought up the ship's readings. Nothing had changed. You watched in silent fascination while the android worked the dashboard as if it had years of experience under its belt. But your curiosity returned, and you found yourself wondering just how long it took to make something as complex as the ACSEL unit. Its designer obviously modeled it off of human anatomy, not too dissimilar to a store mannequin. The white exterior was a stark contrast to the muted colors of the cockpit. Gray lines decorated its body, allowing seamless, free-range movement that added to the realism. Give it a wig, slap some clothes on it, hide the port at the base of its head and you could definitely see someone mistaking the machine for a human. It even imitated a non-robotic masculine timbre almost perfectly.

The most intriguing thing about it though was the eyes. Glowing, electric blue eyes.

"Lieutenant?"

"Yes?"

"While my system processes the damages, would you like to begin personalization?"

You raised a brow. "What for? I had thought you would be outfitted with knowledge about my basic information once you were activated?"

The android flicked a switch on the dashboard, allowing a port to be exposed before inserting its index finger. In any other situation, it would have been comical, but you surmised that this was a part of the machine's processing. "And you would be correct. However, I am referring to myself. One of my functions is personalization to assist with lessening the emotional and psychological impact that an emergency could have. Once I have established that the current environment is stable enough for such, of course," it explained before pausing. "In short, it is to make you feel more comfortable."

"Right..." you trailed off, idly scratching your cheek.

"The process is completely optional if you are satisfied with my default settings," it added gently. " I do not wish to provide you with unnecessary stress."

Chuckling, you waved him - it off dismissively. "It's not that. I just...never mind. How about starting with what I should address you as?"

It gave you a side glance, lips turned upwards once more. "I respond to my model and serial number, A.C.S.E.L. 749710145-121111117-110-103, but due to its length I can be assigned a temporary moniker of your choosing until I undergo a factory reset."

You were sorely tempted to name it something utterly ridiculous. You could almost feel the disapproval from your superior officer at the mere thought of it.

"If it aids you at all, the engineers had named me Blue during my trial period," it offered.

How innovative.

"Blue works," you said at last, much to the android's delight. Could it even feel such a thing? It certainly seemed so as you watch its smile turn into a wide grin and the blue irises rotated in recognition. Nevertheless, you returned the smile albeit hesitantly. "Status update."

"Ah...my systems have confirmed the Zenith has experienced internal engine failure, significant damage to the transmitter and faulty wiring to the navigation. Causes are inconclusive. Hull integrity and life support are operating at 100% efficiency. The estimated time of repair is between 96 and 125 hours."

You relaxed ever-so-slightly. A week wouldn't make much of an impact on your scheduled three-month journey to Alpha Centauri's space outpost. And with the beacon activated, your chances of getting out of here unscathed are highly in your favor. "Noted. Then proceed as needed. I'm going to check on the cargo," you stated.

"No need, Lieutenant," Blue assured while standing. It approached you before clasping its hands behind its back. "I will take that responsibility while you rest. You have been showing signs of minor sleep deprivation in addition to a decrease in your epinephrine levels."

Perplexed, you crossed your arms, suddenly feeling a wave of self-consciousness. "You can gauge my adrenaline? How?"

Maybe you said that a bit too forcefully because Blue actually flinched, as if surprised at your tone. Never in your life did you think you would feel regret for snapping at a machine. You must really be more exhausted than you thought.

"Not through nefarious means, I promise," he - it faltered. "My optic sensors can detect even the subtlest of movements. I...I noticed your body language gradually became more relaxed and your heart rate slowed. My intention was not to cause you distress, Lieutenant. I apologize."

Jesus Christ, you genuinely felt bad now.

"Uh, don't be. I should be apologizing. Getting snippy with you was highly unprofessional," you murmured wearily. Rubbing your left temple, you glanced up to see him observing you with an open stare. Looking closely, you could see his irises whirling. Processing information, perhaps? "Blue?"

It blinked and smiled as if amused. "Apologizing to a machine is unnecessary. I do not feel offended. Though I suppose the gesture is an indication of your good nature, so I thank you."

"You're...welcome?" That's enough weirdness for one day, you thought to yourself. "I will go take my leave then if you don't need me for anything else."

"Not at all, Lieutenant. Please sleep well."

"You too." Biting your tongue, you inwardly cringed at your automatic response. "I mean-"

Blue laughed, apparently unfazed by your slip up. "I shall, thank you."

As you departed from the cockpit, you rubbed the heel of your palm against your right eye. It was the strangest thing; talking to a machine that seemed so human. The FAAE had an abundance of the latest technology, including interactive AI programs. But Blue was the most advanced piece of work you had ever interacted with. It was almost jarring.

The walk back to your quarters was a short one, as the Zenith was one of the smaller cargo ships. Your room lacked any personal items and only housed the bare necessities such as a bed, closet, a small desk, and bathroom. The lights flickered on and the door hissed shut, leaving you to bask in privacy. Eyelids heavy, you decided to shower in the morning. A casual glance at your holopad showed the time back home: 8:47 A.M.

Make that in the evening.

Zipping down your flight suit, you tossed it on the chair before rummaging your closet for a shirt and sweatpants. "Computer. Set an alarm for 4:00 P.M."

The cockpit was relatively silent, save for the gentle hum of the reactor core only Blue could hear. Most of the overhead lights had been dimmed, indicating that the Lieutenant had gone to sleep. The android remained in the chair, perfectly still for 72.8 seconds before closing its eyes.

"ACSEL Unit reporting to Professor Thorne. Do you copy?"

Static feedback permeated its receptors. It felt its nonexistent brow crease in concentration. A few moments passed until it could faintly hear a reply.

"Proceed," was the garbled response.

"Preparing to upload visual and audio recordings as well as acquired data to the server...now." The surge of data left its system almost instantaneously, even from such a distance.

Thorne gave a pleased hum. "Continue your directive and ensure the subject remains incognizant until your arrival. Understood?" they emphasized.

"Yes, Professor."

The connection abruptly ended and Blue rapidly blinked back into focus.

Only the sight of stars and the vastness of space greeted the android. Tilting its head to the side, Blue zoomed in as much as his optics would allow on a particular star. The celestial body remained as but a speck of light to its viewpoints. These rare moments of free agency were captivating, and although it could merely emulate emotion, Blue's receptors always reacted positively. It struggled to understand why the professor always voiced against it. No matter. Such a variable was not programmed within its systems to be of concern. Even so, it remained enamored by the dangerous amalgamations of hydrogen and helium that roamed the universe.

KIM SEOKJIN:

Él estaba con los chicos de Bangtan cenando tranquilamente, disfrutando de deliciosos platillos típicos coreanos después de un largo y duro día de ensayos y grabaciones en la compañía. Durante todo el día tú habías tenido una schedule bastante apretada con motivo de la promoción de tu nuevo álbum (ensayos matutinos, pruebas de vestuario, entrevistas, etc), por lo que no habías podido ponerte en contacto con Jin todavía, evidentemente. Y él, sabiendo que los días de promoción son totalmente ajetreados y estresantes, decidió darte tu tiempo para que te ocupases tranquila de tus quehaceres profesionales; luego, más tarde, intentaría llamarte para ver que tal todo.

Sin embargo, se encontró con un spoiler inesperado de cómo fue tu día: Jimin, de la nada, se levantó de su asiento y se situó al lado de Jin, colocando la pantalla de su móvil enfrente de su cara.

“Hyung, ¿____ ha tenido una entrevista hoy o algo? –preguntó.

“Sí, está de promoción. ¿Por?” –contestó, alejándose del objeto que le había impedido llevarse a la boca un buen bocado de kimchi.

“Pues parece que ha hablado de ti. Mira.”

Jimin, siempre siendo el que está más al día con las redes sociales y pendiente de ellas, había encontrado un video en el que no paraban de mencionar la cuenta de Twitter de los chicos. (Porque sí… Aunque las fans no lo crean, ellos son conscientes de todo lo que se cuece en Twitter y el contenido de las fans…).

Efectivamente, cuando le dieron a reproducir, salías tú contando a los hosts del programa de radio la ayuda que habías recibido por parte de Jin para realizar tu álbum, sin ser él mismo siquiera consciente de ello:

“Sin ser él consciente, me ha ayudado a componer más de la mitad de las canciones de mi álbum.” –fue una de las frases que dijiste.– “Su sola existencia me inspira.”

El resto de los chicos se fueron añadiendo a Jimin y a Jin, como moscas, para ver el video también y escuchar lo que decías del mayor de BTS aka tu novio de dos años ya.

Algunas de las reacciones de ellos eran exageradas debido al cringe que les producía algunas de las palabras inintencionalmente cursis que decías, tapándose la cara o girándose hacia la pared para dar ligeros y cómicos golpes y patadas; otros, por otro lado, simplemente sonreían como tontos ante la ternura de tus palabras.

Mientras tanto, Jin se mantenía quieto, con la mirada clavada en el móvil que seguía sosteniendo Jimin, y con una sonrisa tímida decorando su apuesto y precioso rostro.

Él es del tipo de personas que, de broma, podría decirse eso a sí mismo, ya que su ego y su dramaticidad es característico de su humor. Pero lo cierto es que recibir halagos por parte de terceras personas es algo a lo que todavía no está acostumbrado, ni se acostumbrará nunca. Que dijeras que él era tu «inspiración» y que el álbum no habría salido a la luz si no llega a ser por él, le había conmovido realmente el corazón. No son palabras que os decís todos los días, y menos públicamente en un programa de radio; y menos aún, con todo Bangtan detrás, mofándose de él.

Por lo tanto, así es como se queda el chico: con las puntas de las orejas y los mofletes teñidos de un ligero color rosado, y una media sonrisa plantada en sus labios mientras dice, con su característico humor fuera de contexto:

“Wow… Debe ser verdad que le gusto para que diga todo eso…”

MIN YOONGI:

Yoongi se encontraba junto a Hoseok, Namjoon y Jungkook revisando un track en su estudio. Acababan de terminar de grabar un par de cositas y ahora estaban verificando si quedaba bien o había que modificar ciertos detalles. Estaban inmersos en la tarea, comentando sus opiniones, cuando de repente una notificación en la gran pantalla de ordenador de Yoongi aparece en la esquina derecha del mismo. 

Jk es rápido y lee:

“«_____ ha estado hoy en mi programa de radio y mira lo que ha dicho de ti.»” -leyó en voz alta. El mensaje tenía un video adjunto. 

Era de parte de un amigo de Yoongi que, como ya se puede anticipar, trabaja en el programa de radio en el que hoy has tenido una entrevista con motivo de la promoción de tu nuevo álbum.

“¿Qué?” –dijo Yoongi confundido, girando la cabeza para mirar al maknae.

“Uy, yo quiero verlo.” –Hoseok había olvidado el pequeño debate que estaban teniendo antes, y ahora solo le importaba el salseo.

“Va, hyung, ponlo.” –siguió Jungkook, apoyando sus manos en los hombros de Yoongi, quien, no muy convencido, entró en la conversación y pulsó al video, sin saber lo que se iba a encontrar.

Ahí salías tú, hablando tan pancha de cómo Yoongi te ha enseñado a componer, en general, empleando hasta el más insignificante detalle de la vida cotidiana para inspirarte y crear las letras y melodías de cada una de las canciones de tu álbum. En definitiva, él te había inspirado: su adicción al trabajo se te ha pegado un poco y, para ti, Yoongi es un referente en el ámbito profesional; en la constancia y dedicación. 

No empleaste ninguna cursilería y te ceñiste simplemente a hablar en el sentido profesional:

“Yoongi, profesionalmente, es un modelo a seguir; Me inspira a trabajar y dar lo mejor de mí.” –dijiste con un tono serio y veraz. Era lo que sentías realmente.

Hasta ese momento, Yoongi estaba atentamente mirando la pantalla de su ordenador, con los dedos de sus manos entrelazados en la superficie de la mesa, concentrado escuchando tus palabras, mientras los chicos coreaban un «Oooohhh» todos al unísono, pateando la espalda del pobre chico, haciendo que se sintiera avergonzado.

“¡¡Waaaa!!” –exclamó uno de los hosts de la radio–  “Yoongi seguro que se está derritiendo en este momento escuchando esto.”

“¿Yoongi? Seguro que ahora está metido en su estudio trabajando. No lo verá hasta más tarde.” –contestaste riendo juntamente con el resto de los presentes.

Yoongi, ante lo cierto de tu predicción, esconde una sonrisa mientras niega con la cabeza.

Pero lo que no puede negar es la sensación de calidez en su corazón: saber que su forma de trabajar te inspira y te ha ayudado a realizar tu proyecto, le llena de orgullo y admiración por ti.

Una vez termina el video, Yoongi lo cierra y exclama:

“¡Venga! ¡Volvamos al trabajo! Quiero terminar esto ya, que estoy cansado…” –dijo, girándose hacia los tres pares de ojos que lo observaban con una sonrisa cómplice.

JUNG HOSEOK:

Tras un ajetreado día, todos los miembros de Bangtan se encontraban descansando en el amplio salón de los dormitorios, cada uno haciendo lo que más le apetecía: algunos estaban comiendo mientras veían la tele o enganchados al móvil o al ordenador, otros echando una cabezadita… Eso hasta que Taehyung exclama un «Ohhhhh» mientras mira su móvil, con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja, llamando así la atención de todos.

“¿Qué pasa?” –preguntó Jk, que estaba recostado al lado suyo.

“____.” –contestó simplemente, desviando el móvil hacia él.– “Hyung, ven.” –dijo, llamando ahora a Hoseok, quien estaba quedándose medio dormido en la otra esquina del cuarto.

“Ven tú…” –Hoseok estaba tan cansado que no movió ni una pestaña.

Como Tae tampoco tenía intención de moverse, simplemente clicó varias cosas en los ajustes de su móvil para que, lo que veía en él, se viese también en la televisión.  (La tecnología y sus avances…).

Es así cómo, al escuchar tu voz, Hoseok abrió los ojos de golpe, encontrándose con tu reflejo en la gran pantalla.

“Ah, claro, hoy tenía una entrevista…” –pensó en voz alta, sintiéndose mal al no haberlo recordado en todo el día.

En el video que ahora estaban todos viendo, hablabas de tu álbum y de cómo fue el proceso de creación de las canciones. Todo iba normal, hasta que mencionaste a Hoseok:

“Hobi ha sido un gran apoyo para mí en estos meses. Yo suelo ser una persona muy insegura, sobre todo con las cosas que hago por mí misma, como escribir canciones o crear melodías. Pero Hoseok me ha animado en esos momentos en los que pensaba que este proyecto no saldría adelante.”

En este punto, la amplia sonrisa de Hoseok se extendía por sus labios, sin esconder en lo más mínimo la satisfacción que estaba sintiendo mientras te escuchaba, con sus ojitos formando las medias lunas que solo salían cuando él se sentía realmente feliz.

“Muchas de las canciones del álbum al final han conseguido ver la luz gracias a él: Hoseok se sentaba conmigo y me hacía pensar en la mejor manera de seguirlas o retocarlas, cuando yo ya estaba por abandonar.”

Continuabas explicando, haciendo que Hoseok recordara dichos momentos en los que, totalmente decaída, acudías a él desanimada y con ganas de mandar todo a tomar viento.

“Puedo afirmar que este álbum tiene en cada una de sus canciones pequeñas pinceladas de Hoseok; más que nada porque, básicamente, él me ha inspirado casi todas de las letras.”

Hobi seguía mirando atentamente tu reflejo en la pantalla, sin importarle en lo más mínimo los comentarios que el resto de Bangtan estaban haciendo alrededor de él.

“wAAAww” –exclamó Jin dramáticamente, aplaudiendo a la pantalla.

“Hoseokah, ten cuidado que se te cae la babilla…” –continuó Yoongi, provocando la aguda y tierna risilla de Jungkook y Jimin.

Pero Hoseok solo tenía ojos y oídos para ti en ese momento. Se sentía feliz al saber que te había ayudado, y orgulloso al ver cómo finalmente habías conseguido sacar tu álbum y la buena recepción que estaba teniendo por parte del público.

“Hobi, te lo digo siempre, pero nunca en público…” –ahora mirabas directamente a la cámara que te estaba enfocando.– “Gracias.” –dijiste simplemente, guiñando un ojo.

Eso solo hizo que la sonrisa de Hoseok se expandiera aún más –si era eso posible–, y elevó su pulgar hacia arriba en dirección a la televisión, como si lo pudieras ver, satisfecho. Solo deseaba poder verte y plantarte un gran y amoroso beso en los labios.

KIM NAMJOON:

Cuando la cámara del BangtanTV enfocó a Namjoon, él se encontraba sentado en una de las sillas de los tocadores, tras haber sido ya arreglado y maquillado para las futuras escenas del MV que estaban grabando en ese momento.

Lo pillaron mirando el móvil mientras mantenía una tímida sonrisa escondida por la mano que revoloteaba alrededor de su mentón.

“¡Ya está viendo videos de ____!” –gritó Jin desde el otro lado de la habitación, al ver que la cámara enfocaba a Nam. Se acercó y asomó su cabeza para ver el vídeo que estaba reproduciendo el joven líder.

Al corroborar que, efectivamente, era un vídeo tuyo, estalló en carcajadas, ganándose así las miradas de todos en la habitación, incluida las dagas que le lanzaba Nam por sus ojos ahora.

El resto de los chicos, sonriendo, se acercaron al mayor de BTS, quien ahora sostenía el móvil, para ver el vídeo, como los cotillas que son:

“Namjoon es un referente en el mundo de la composición y la producción. Por supuesto que él me ha inspirado; pero no solo en lo profesional, sino también en lo personal…” –decías, con cautela, sabiendo que tenías que ser precavida con cualquiera que fuera la información que compartías sobre vosotros y vuestra relación.– “La mayoría de mis letras están inspiradas en momentos que he vivido con él… Podría decir que este álbum es como un recopilatorio de recuerdos.”

No usabas ninguna palabra cursi ya que, además de que no es tu estilo, sabes perfectamente que a Namjoon le da también cierto cringe ese tipo de declaraciones. Sin duda, eres buena hablando en público y empleando las expresiones correctas, como también lo es tu novio –que bien lo demuestra en sus famosas menciones en los conciertos y entregas de premios–. Eso no evita que Nam se avergüence en cierta manera, no por tus palabras en sí, sino por lo que las mismas le hacen sentir: se siente orgulloso y amado al ver el crédito que le estás dando; no cree merecerlo, pero a la vez se siente agradecido. 

“¡Ohhhh, Namjoonnie” –dijo con tono cómico Yoongi, moviendo sus hombros mientras reía, posando una mano en su hombro efímeramente al pasar por su lado en dirección hacia donde le acababa de llamar una de las estilistas.

“¿Has escuchado ya el álbum de ____? –preguntó Jk, sin levantar la mirada del aparato.

“No… todavía no he podido escucharlo.” –explicaba Nam, cortado, aún intentando esconder esa sonrisa tímida que hacía lucir brevemente su tierno hoyuelo, perfectamente captado por el cámara de BangtanTV.

PARK JIMIN:

Jimin se encontraba en la sala de descanso, tras terminar la primera parte del concierto que estaba teniendo lugar en ese momento. Hasta dentro de un par de canciones no le tocaba salir a él, ya que era el turno de los solos de cada uno de los chicos, así que tiene un ratito para prepararse y tomar un respiro. En un momento que estaba charlando con Taehyung, quien también tenía un rato de descanso hasta su solo, fue él quien le recordó que tú tenías una aparición en el programa de radio.

Jimin, sin demora, cogió su móvil para ver algún clip o algo, como siempre hacía. Y es que él nunca se perdía ningún programa o show en el que aparecías. 

NUNCA. 

Siempre se los tragaba enteros, y si podía, los veía en directo, orgulloso siempre de ver a su novia haciendo lo que más le gusta y ser reconocida por ello.

Sin embargo, lo que encontró fueron sólo clips del momento en el que hablaste de él. Jimin estaba confundido viendo que el título de todos los vídeos que aparecían incluían también su nombre. Era por el hecho de que vosotros no mencionáis el nombre del otro en vuestras entrevistas, como mejor manera para poder mantener vuestra relación, recientemente anunciada al público, más en privado –aunque llevabais saliendo ya un año y poco más–:

«¡____ habla por primera vez de Jimin y su relación!»

«La declaración de amor de ____ por Jimin de BTS»

«_____ dice que Jimin es su fuente de inspiración.»

« «Estoy agradecida por tenerlo en mi vida, y siempre que pueda lo demostraré en mis canciones» »

Jimin no se podía creer que habías hablado de él. Estaba nervioso por saber qué habías dicho, aunque por los títulos podía hacerse ya una idea…

Puso el primer video, con Taehyung a su lado, también ansioso, y escuchó cómo, tímida pero a la vez con seguridad, compartías por primera vez algunos detalles acerca de cómo Jimin era la persona que más influía en tu día a día y, por ende, en la creación de tus canciones. Con una sonrisa plantada en la cara y con una mano moviendo su azulado flequillo, Jimin escuchaba tus tiernas palabras, aquellas en las que decías con el corazón en la mano que, si no fuese por él, tu álbum no habría visto la luz.

“Yah, ¿por qué ha dicho eso? No es verdad…” –dijo soltando una risilla tímida, desviando la mirada a Tae.– “¡Habría salido de todos modos, conmigo o sin mí!”

No pudo ver más videos, porque su momento para salir al escenario se acercaba; sin embargo, no podía quitarse de la mente tus palabras y de los labios la sonrisa al recordarlas. Un cálido sentimiento se instaló en su corazón, sintiéndose la mar de bien tras escuchar cómo expresabas tus sentimientos por el públicamente, ya que pudo sentir tu sinceridad.

KIM TAEHYUNG:

Taehyung no se esperaba esa encerrona: estaban en medio de una entrevista en el programa de radio en donde justo habías tenido tú también, pero por la mañana, la entrevista de promoción de tu nuevo álbum.

Fue inevitable que cayera una pregunta sobre ti, lo que pilló desprevenido al chico.

“Sí, ____ acaba de sacar su nuevo álbum. Así que dadle todo el amor y reconocimiento que se merece, por favor.” -dijo escuetamente con una sonrisa, sabiendo que, si decía cualquier cosa más, seguro que los hosts acabarían por tirarle de la lengua.

“¿Sabías que esta mañana ha estado aquí?” –le preguntó. Tae realmente no sabía que habías tenido una entrevista esta mañana. No habíais estado muy en contacto últimamente porque los días de promoción son, literalmente, imposibles.– “Nos ha hablado de ti, mira.”

Y sin más, les puso el audio en el que hablabas de tu álbum e, inesperadamente, también de Tae:

“El pobre no lo sabe, porque apenas le he dejado escuchar uno o dos tracks del álbum,” –comenzaste a decir, riendo– “pero básicamente todo el álbum está inspirado en él.” 

Taehyung abrió sus ojos, sorprendido, clavando su mirada en el primer miembro que encontró, siendo éste su amigo Jimin, quien copió su expresión pero en plan mofa.

“O sea, que tu álbum es, por decirlo así, una declaración de amor.” –dijo uno de los hosts.

Tú te reíste, sintiéndote un poco avergonzada por la manera en la que lo había expresado.

“Bueno… sí, podría decirse de esa manera…” –tu risa tímida seguía inundando el ambiente.– “Si este álbum ha podido ser terminado y publicado, es gracias a que él está en mi vida. Cuando le deje escucharlo, se dará cuenta...”

Taehyung no sabía qué decir, simplemente le salía reírse al saber el verdadero significado que había detrás de tu álbum y por qué no le habías dejado escucharlo entero, a la vez que sentirse conmovido por tus palabras. 

Los chicos lo miraban, esperando que dijera algo.

“Le ha comido la lengua el gato.” –intervino Jin ante la silenciosa risa de su joven amigo.

“No sé qué decir…” –comentó, al fin, luciendo su preciosa boxy smile mientras se echaba hacia atrás en la silla.

“No ya, nos hemos dado cuenta.” –continuó Namjoon, riendo junto a él el resto de los presentes.

Taehyung sentía vergüenza al ver toda la atención centrada en él, por lo que no le salía nada que decir con respecto a esto; menos mal que los chicos, comentario a comentario, consiguieron desviar el tema finalmente. Y lo cierto es que, durante el resto de la entrevista, no paraba de pensar en tus palabras, deseando que acabara para al fin poder escuchar tu álbum y ver la manera en la que habías plasmado tus sentimientos por él en bellas letras y melodías.

JEON JUNGKOOK:

Grabar los «BTS run» es una de las actividades más livianas para los chicos; además, se lo pasan bien. Hoy debían de grabar dos episodios, por lo tanto, entre uno y otro, tenían un corto periodo de descanso en el que cada uno se va a hacer sus cosas: algunos al baño, otros a picar algo, otros cogen su móvil… Jungkook es de los que se van a comer algo para recargar fuerzas, por supuesto. 

Es J-hope quien le avisa que las redes están on fire, sobre todo Twitter, con vuestro nombre (el tuyo y el de Jk) en tendencias, cosa rara, ya que os habéis encargado siempre de mantener un perfil bajo en vuestra relación, evitando habladurías. Él sabía que hoy tenías una entrevista en uno de los programas de radio más conocidos del país, por lo que sospechaba que tendría que ver con eso.

Hobi es quien se encarga de indagar más, y finalmente dan con el vídeo que ha causado ese revuelo… Mención honorífica a las fans, que siempre están preparadas para este tipo de situaciones y comparten solo los fragmentos "más interesantes”; en este caso, el video en el que mencionas a Jungkook directamente. Él, al verte con los cascos a través de la pantalla, en el programa de radio hablando de él, le es inevitable escupir la bebida que se había llevado a los labios en ese momento, literalmente, manchándose entero. Nunca habías pronunciado su nombre en los medios, con el propósito de no relacionar tu carrera profesional con la de él –decisión tuya–, porque no querías que nadie pensara que eras una «busca–fama». En este caso, no pudiste evitar hablar de tu novio cuando te preguntaron qué era lo que te inspiraba para componer tus canciones. Evidentemente, no podías no mencionar a la persona que más apoyo e inspiración te ha brindado en la creación de este proyecto. 

Jungkook, después del shock inicial, mientras se secaba la boca y la barbilla, lucha por esconder la sonrisa que se le va formando en los labios mientras te escucha hablar sobre vosotros. Es la primera vez y, aunque le ha pillado por sorpresa, lo que dices no es nada tampoco que desvele mucho de vuestra intimidad, por lo que se encuentra con que le gusta bastante cómo hablas y te expresas; siente lo mucho que le amas por el modo en que cuentas las cosas. 

“¡¡¡Ohhhhh, Jungkokkie!!!” –Decía Hoseok palmeando la espalda del joven– “¡Nunca había escuchado a _____ hablar así de ti! –continuó, sonriéndole de oreja a oreja al ver a su amigo colorado.

“¡¡Le está dejando demasiado bien!! Jk, no te la mereces. –dijo Jin para chincharlo, al acercarse a la mesa del catering.

Jungkook mira mal a Jin, y se lanza directo a pelear con él.

o que achei pessoalmente do album, dos conceitos, do grupo. sem formalidades porque nao sei fazer resenha e porque nao sei me expressar de uma maneira que nao seja informal.

de cara, eu gostei bastante. até demais. acho que tinha na minha cabeça que seria um álbum muito ruim mesmo. e isso mesmo com expectativas altas que eu reservava por conta de toda a pressão em cima dum grupo com gente tão foda (e com tanta gente que eu amo!!!). era uma sensação de “certeza que a música vai ser ruim”, mas ALGUMA COISA boa vai sair disso tudo. minimamente uma coisinha vai me agradar. e eu já estava certa que daria o apoio mesmo que eu não gostasse de nada... então o não eu já tinha. 

primeiramente, já fiquei bem feliz com o conceito. toda a estética sci-fi e garotos badasses das imagens de teaser e depois as previews do mv com algo mais... galera radical no deserto sendo maneira (?) me deixou feliz. afinal, não é algo de se ver no kpop com tanta frequência. o mv é tecnicamente incrível e cheio de efeitos especiais e gravações dentro e fora de estúdio (haja dinheiro da capitol records emprestado pra sm). mas não consigo deixar de pensar que poderiam impressionar com muito menos. foram em lugares tão exclusivos e incríveis para impressionar (e foi definitivamente impressionante!), porém... não contou nenhuma história. acho que os mvs da sm raramente contam alguma história, então não sei como esperei algo diferente. tendo eles só sendo gostosões em lugares legais (aquela ponte restrita, literalmente um deserto vasto) e com acessórios impressionantes (motos, carros e helicópteros) não me prende agora para continuamente assistir o vídeo. é como se tivessem tudo para inovar, mas ainda assim conseguiram não ser criativos. o paradoxo de ser inovador, mas não criativo. 

os efeitos/trabalho de câmera nas horas que eles performam, de atrasar ou adiantar a imagem, são interessantes, mas também me incomodam. a projeção do grupo no meio de uma sold-out arena performando? uma pretensão bem desconcertante. bom, mas têm que vender o peixe, né? “avengers of kpop.” in the midst of the fandom wars nor only within the sm fandoms (exo-ls hating above all) but also outside of it (with armys being bitches about not giving the group the attention they deserve and supposedly letting bts stay winning). incrível que mesmo diante disso tudo, desde a época que o grupo foi anunciado, continuaram com umas estratégias curiosas na promoção deles. but i guess not the point here. 

não entendi o ponto das bolinhas flutuantes feitas de cgi acima deles no estúdio dançando. achei que perderam muito tempo mostrando carro acelerando, luzes bonitas, tanque de guerra de longe em alta velocidade, homem pulando de helicóptero... dentre outras coisas. acabei sentindo que rolou uma contradição dentro dos conceitos (performadores... futuristas... militares...? tron... com mad max... e we will rock you da pink, beyonce e britney spears?). ou talvez não houve diálogo entre essas coisas todas. enfim, o mv, não é meu favorito. resumidamente, acho que poderiam ter feito diferente em aspectos distintos (e.g. explorando mais fora da caixa já que pagaram por tanto; contado alguma história nem que básica - como em regular do nct ou lucky one do exo; ou se não for pra contar uma história, que mostrasse sem a muleta de efeitinhos que perturbam a visualização, não colaboram com o conceito ou contorcem os meninos - como um lindo want do taemin; os figurinos também deixaram a desejar em criatividade - poderiam ter ousado mais; etc etc etc). e isso tudo pra dizer: beleza, de primeira curti o conceito e o mv. ainda curto muito, acho legal mesmo. só não tanto quanto o gostinho inicial que tive. se antes eu estava dando um 8/10, hoje eu devo estar dando um 6,5/10. tipo 6 pro mv e 7 pro conceito. mal proveito de alguém da equipe de produção, mas não sei quem porque não entendo dessas coisas behind-the-scenes e cinematográficas.

agora, o álbum. primeiro as músicas por si só e depois o álbum como um todo. novamente, expectativas misturadas demais. esperava algo terrível e acabei me surpreendendo. foi bem melhor do que esperava.

- adorei jopping, mas não é palatável de forma alguma pra audiência média de kpop? não é uma música fácil pros ouvidos, não é hit de explodir. acho que daria um bom single pra nct (assunto que voltarei recorrentemente daqui pra frente), talvez, já que peguei um tiquinho daquela vibe deles ~diferente~ do kpop tradicional easy on the ears. é forte, mostra o por que deles estarem ali, o que querem. title com nome diferente pra deixar uma marca, música com direito a guitarra (chique) e feita especialmente para lgbtqs, já que todo o background que remete a bailes e voguing e desfiles estão bem ali, não é mesmo? distribuição razoável, mas também esperada. achei um bom single, mas senti que poderiam ter feito mais palatável e catchy pra atrair mais gente (tipo nct 127 em 2019?) ou deixado jopping como aquele segundo single promovido. menos pretensioso também (o começo com a audiência clamando... dá pra bater palma como em um “we will rock you” ali no fundo). enfim, o lance é que mesmo só sendo uma música “boa” absolutamente não merece só 13 milhões de views nos dois primeiros dias. se kpoppies não fossem pau no cu, esse grupo poderia alavancar ainda mais. enfim, next.

- i can’t stand the rain é uma viagem auditiva. me lembrou trilha sonora de filmes da disney como pocahontas ou mulan. gostei também, ainda mais porque foge dum kpop ou dum pop tradicional. principalmente o refrão e os instrumentos no fundo (acho que são japoneses? tipo uma flauta?). a percussão me deixa ligadona direto. pra mim é uma das que deixaram na gaveta pra shinee e tiveram oportunidade de usar aqui nesse álbum com superm. 

- 2 fast. QUE MÚSICA. essa foi b-side engavetada de nct ou de shinee. até exo, quem sabe! impressionante como realmente esses grupos fazem parte da sm e eventualmente se cruzam nesses gêneros todos. acho que foi um bom trabalho pros membros justamente por conta disso, por encaixar muito bem com todos eles. a parte meio house music mais pro final foi TUDO que eu precisava e não sabia, já que não deixou a música numa mesmice. é uma ótima side track. sexy e animada na medida certa, sem ficar entediante. bem palatável e dá uma quebrada no álbum, acrescentando temporariamente uma vibe mais tranquila em comparação com as músicas que vêm antes e a que vem depois.

- super car. a barulheira que tenho certeza ser música engavetada de nct. deve ter usado produtores deles, com toda a certeza. é a chain que deu certo. o “something differennnnt” talvez seja tudo pra mim porque amo a puxadinha ali na nasal. as partes instrumentais nos momentos que cantam “drifting” me lembram solos do ten também e aposto que vai ser muito legal de ver nas danças. de toda forma, não é meu estilo de música favorito, mas curti. é muito intensa e seria incrível de se ouvir em show e pular muito alto, mas não é pra ouvir todo dia. 

- e finalmente: no manners. uma vibe levemente latina e que preciso fazer a infeliz comparação: airplane pt. 2 de bts. é sexy, é uma delícia, tem vibes latinas: não tem erro. novamente uma música mais light e easy on the ears (como 2 fast). taeyong fica ali uma eternidade sem respirar no rap e eu poderia ficar grávida só de ouvir a voz dele. quem sabe. ainda não foi cientificamente comprovado, mas um dia, talvez. também uma das minhas favoritas do álbum e fecha muito legal o álbum.

no geral: achei a escolha na ordem das músicas bem curiosa, mas acho que deu muito certo. começam com o single pesadinho, vão pra uma música bem diferente do tradicional e com pegadas japonesas/coreanas, pra uma bem sexy animadinha, pra uma música pesadora e acabam com uma música suave com vibes latinas e sensuais (ninguém conta as instrumentais). eu amei que não é um álbum entediante. não me cansa em momento algum (apesar de ser bem curtinho, né). inovam bem com as músicas, repetindo um pouco a fórmula do que já fazem bem com os subgrupos dos meninos musicalmente. não senti que tem filler (além das instrumentais) e foi genuinamente algo bem pensado. não é meu estilo de álbum favorito e ainda me deixa muito a desejar, mas achei um bom trabalho. 

me chateou a distribuição enormemente, mas era esperado, como já disse. taemin e baekhyun como focos no vocal e mark e taeyong como focos no rap. fico triste que não tenham explorado mais o rap do lucas ou o vocal do ten, ambos extremamente talentosos nessas áreas. o jongin infelizmente não é bom nem em um, nem em outro, mas arrasa na dança e na presença de palco. má distribuição acredito que seja típica da sm. winwin e o próprio jongin que o saibam. o foda é que não é como se eles fossem membros pouco populares em um grupo ou outro qualquer. são uns dos membros mais populares de boygroups da sm dentro de um super grupo. acho que a sm deveria ter pensado bem melhor nisso, já que até apoiadores do grupo (diga-se de passagem que restaram pouquíssimos) se incomodaram e reclamaram MUITO com a distribuição merda. todos mereciam um pouco do holofote em todas as músicas. infelizmente o álbum ficou muito um markyong rappers e baekmin como vocals. os outros foram esquecidos no churrasco. e onde acho que se superariam (em realities e entrevistas), estão limitados pela língua e também pela falta de promoção (no momento) na coreia. tenho esperanças de que todos se abram mais nessas coisas.

eu gostaria muito que eles lançassem mais música em janeiro, mas acho improvável, se não impossível (até porque eles tem shows ainda nos eua e canadá em fevereiro, nct e wayv tem schedules com tour japonesa e comeback respectivamente no meio tempo, baek tem que ir pro exército eventualmente...). seria lindo um repackage com três outras músicas (um outro single e duas fillers...). meu sonho nº 1 era eles terem feito algo com o wings de bts, lançando um solo novo pra cada membro (mas vão usar solos velhos pro show, aparentemente - como dream in a dream ou long light ou un village). 

acho que o álbum e superm teria muito mais impacto e venda se tivessem solos para todos nesse projeto. meu laudo médico é: acho que foram pretensiosos e confiantes demais em um sucesso certo (a sm e a capitol records, no caso), sem calcular tanta merda que poderia ter dado (e deu) e, infelizmente, vão deixar muito a desejar em popularidade no grupo e em dinheiro no bolso. 

but anygays, i’ll keep dreaming com solo projects e comeback logo.

de dever de casa, vou ler as letras e entender mais sobre o que cantam e como as letras casam no álbum. vou aguardar as performances, entrevistas e dance practices também. amaria uma promoção legal na coreia (eles num idol room e num weekly idol... ai ai), mas não acho que vá rolar. queria muito um bom descanso pros meninos do nct/wayv, já que estão sem parar há meses e meses. burnout vai derrubá-los uma hora ou outra :(

SM vs YG - A Verdade sobre JenKai.

A conta da revista Koreain (e de várias outras organizações criadas por fãs em mídias mundiais) anunciou ontem em seu instagram o termino oficial de JenKai, com as exatas palavras “Infelizmente o casal mais badalado do KPOP chegou ao final menos de um mês depois de ser anunciado.” - Eis que lhes pergunto... Mais badalado? Quando nem ao menos eram um casal real? Sejam bem vindos ao sensacionalismo que causa a interpretação precipitada de fãs.

Vários CASAIS badalados podem ser citados neste momento com um toque de humor e tapa na cara das pessoas que futilmente acreditaram nessa mentira! Como a Hyuna com o E’Dawn ou o SungMin com a SaEun. Casais reais, que anunciaram seus relacionamentos reais com os próprios lábios, em momentos os quais suas empresas estavam no “auge” e sofreram consequencias reais por isso.

Se todos vocês me conhecessem antes, provavelmente saberiam que desde o inicio estava sendo firme em relação á tudo não passar de uma estratégia empresarial. Colegas que possuem meu contato não me deixam mentir, o primeiro que disse foi: “Com todos os problemas do EXO atualmente, um boato de namoro pode fazer tudo sumir! Não dou mais de dois meses, eles irão terminar assim que os fãs e haters esquecerem as polemicas.” Dito e feito.

Que polemicas? Vamos refrescar algumas memórias!

Dia 2 de Novembro de 2018, o album Don’t Mess Up My Tempo foi revelado, com ele o music video (video musical, que normalmente chamamos de clipe, ou seja, MV e clipe são a mesma coisa, para de graça!). A música não foi alvo de problemas, porém o figurino usado nas apresentações e gravações não agradou a familia tradicional coreana e por sua vez os “odiadores” passaram a atacar virtualmente JongIn e a SM, insinuando que suas roupas (Imagem abaixo) definiam a sexualidade do mesmo como homoafetiva e que deixavam os telespectadores coreanos envergonhados, sem jeito, constrangidos e violados por passar em horário nobre e sem censura na televisão aberta.

Esse tipo de comentários, além de prejudicar as fãs de familia preconceituosa e causar a mudança completa das roupas usadas nas apresentações, afetou diretamente a FAMILIA DO KAI, exatamente! Os comentários tomaram um impulso tão forte que mesmo os pais do Kai se sentiram constrangidos e o próprio Kai afirmou diversas vezes que ODIAVA usar roupas assim, mas precisava fazer isso. Quando a dona SM (Eu trato a SM como uma senhora de 50 anos) pensou terem esquecido tudo e tornado essa discussão sem cabimento um marco do passado, uma nova bomba surgiu sobre o EXO. 

Em 13 de Dezembro foi lançado o music video de Love Shot e com ele alguns boatos - inválidos - de plágio surgiram entre os fãs e os “odiadores” agredindo a imagem do EXO e da SM. O impacto estava sendo grande, porém não atingiu diretamente as ações da empresa, pelo menos não mais do que ela já estava sendo agredida pelos problemas com denuncias de trabalho excessivo e repudio das fãs em relação aos acontecimentos com a Irene (Falo disso em outro momento). Isso foi relevado por muito tempo, pois a empresa, apesar dos ataques a respeito da música, sabia e tinha como provar a razão em seu direito juridico neste caso.

Mas esse não foi o único problema no mês de Dezembro que os rapazes do EXO tiveram de enfrentar, principalmente o Kai. Antes mesmo de a SM e as próprias fãs se pronunciarem em defesa no caso de plágio, outra acusação, novamente atacando JongIn, surgiu com um programa chamado The Return Of Superman da emissora KBS.

A próposta inicial do programa era mostrar como pais famosos cuidariam de seus filhos sem as mães por perto, mostrando metaforicamente que elas eram tão incriveis como o Superman por fazerem algo tão dificil e os incentivar a ajuda-las com a criação dos pequenos. Entretanto, nos ultimos anos, o programa tem recebido artistas e convidados especiais que passam algumas horas com as crianças enquanto os pais estão sob a responsabilidade de cuidar das mesmas e em Dezembro de 2018, foi a vez de Kai fazer sua primeira aparição neste show (lembrando que ChanYeol já havia participado com BaekHyun anteriormente).

Trechos do episodio especial de natal com os dois rapazes do EXO foram postados no YouTube e em outras mídias, para promoção do programa, porém uma reação inesperada tanto de fãs asiáticas quanto de ocidentais chocou a internet no mundo dos kpoppers. Kai, desta vez, estava sendo acusado de pedofilia (ISSO MESMO! PEDOFILIA!) por dar um selinho na criança e se mostrar carinhoso com as mesmas, não apenas por haters, mas seus próprios fãs o estavam atacando de maneira brutal!

Qualquer pessoa com bom senso veria que não teve qualquer malicia nas ações de Kai para com as crianças, mas diante essas circunstancias ridiculas e ataques vindos de todos os lados, até mesmo trazendo novamente a história com as roupas das apresentações de Tempo, nossa querida empresa se viu encurralada.

Até dia 29 de Dezembro a SM tinha sobre si: boatos de plágio, a sexualidade de Kai e acusações de pedofilia. Mas e a YG? O que estava acontecendo com a segunda maior empresa de entretenimento da Coréia do Sul, enquanto a SM enfrentava situações horriveis, as quais não seriam facilmente resolvidas?

Bem! A YG estava enfrentando problemas os quais não fãs de BlackPink, Big Bang, IKON e PSY não tinham a menor ideia de que aconteciam! 

Há algum tempo, boatos de que a empresa YG Entertainment estava negligenciando seus artistas e dando exclusividade ao BlackPink, causaram um grande problema com os seguidores da empresa e isso causou uma enorme explosão de podres da YG voando para todos os lados. Como já sabemos, história suja é o que não falta nessa empresa. Logo os V.I.P.s - fãs do Big Bang - se pronunciaram em defesa dos seus idolos e exigiram que o YG se explicasse a respeito da falta de promoção dos rapazes e do descuido a respeito dos solos, tudo o que o nosso excelentíssimo CEO fez foi ignorar qualquer tipo de confronto e seguir como se tudo fosse mentira da mídia.

Mas não parou por aí! Quer dizer... Parou até demais! Logo os Blinks - fãs do BlackPink - perceberam que a agenda das meninas estava irregular e com grandes espaços vazios, o que significava que o senhor YG não apenas deu uma enorme carga de trabalho para elas, mas também PAROU as promoções internacionais do Blackpink (Isso não mudou! Podem entrar no site oficial da YG e conferir a falta de compromissos a partir de Fevereiro: https://blackpinkupdate.com/blackpink-schedule/).

Diferente do outro fandom, os Blinks foram se resolver diretamente com as garotas perguntanto sobre para onde elas iriam, quando teriam comeback e o que elas tinham marcado em suas agendas, mas não havia resposta, pelo menos não até que em uma live, Jennie surpreendeu os fãs de forma negativa. A pergunta era a respeito de quando elas fariam um comeback e a garota, já pressionada, respondeu que estava difícil ignorar tantos comentários sobre isso e que apesar de querer muito agradar aos fãs, isso não dependia delas e era doloroso não poder fazer nada pelos blinks (ou algo assim, se quiser ver o video, sinta-se a vontade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsUo-GHoeoY). Sendo confirmado por Jennie que não tinham nada marcado veio a certeza da negligencia da empresa para com os artistas.

Não foi uma grande surpresa quando em 15 de Maio de 2018, o artista que mais propagou o kpop e abriu muitas portas para diversos idols no exterior, Psy, deixou a empresa com declarações muito agradáveis vindas da YG, apesar de nunca ter visto qualquer banner para promover o cantor e raramente o ver em programas de TV - sim! os programas de tv são arranjados pela empresa! - eles se mostraram amigáveis neste termino de contrato.

Mas apenas isso? Não! Obviamente, chegou a hora de mais idols se pronunciarem e pasmem, SeungRi finalmente pareceu ter largado o saco do senhor YG e se pronunciou falando que certamente havia um enorme descaso para com sua agenda de compromissos, não estava tendo seu solo promovido e haviam boatos de que o CEO continuava apagando comentários de fãs que perguntavam a respeito do mesmo (Isso já foi resolvido também, porque SeungRi ainda não deixou de puxar o saco do presidente da empresa). Houve uma revolta monstruosa envolvendo este assunto e tanto SeungRi quanto o CEO pareciam trocar farpas sempre que podiam.

Então chegou o aterrorizante momento do qual todos desconfiaram, um ato chave do senhor responsável pela empresa fez com que novamente fãs se vissem encurralados e desta vez pelas noticias de que o empresário estava planejando deixar um dos grupos em hiatus - parar totalmente as promoções por tempo indeterminado - para promover seu mais novo boygroup (cara de pau da porra, não está cuidando nem dos idols que já tem e quer debutar mais gente, filma as ideia desse velho), ele só não disse qual.

Não apenas as V.I.P.s e as Blinks foram coagidos com a noticia, mas também os IKONICs - fãs do IKON - que estavam passando por alguns problemas com boatos (que eu não sei bem quais são, mas se quiserem pesquiso mais sobre isso e faço um post a respeito) sobre seus meninos.

De toda maneira, novo grupo, termino de contrato amistoso com Psy, solo das meninas do BlackPink (Ainda que não promovendo em grupo, elas são fonte de lucro), WINNER recebendo alguma atenção pelos prêmios com Really e IKON se mostrando cada vez mais por dentro nos holofotes. De longe este ano era o melhor da YG - se você conhece a história da empresa sabe que tem muito mais - e a única forma de dar a volta por cima destes pequenos boatos que poderiam prejudicar a empresa era fazer uma parceria que ajudasse a apagar a imagem suja que a YG tem.

Esclarecidas algumas polemicas de 2018 - não citei todas, como as da TaeYeon, do Henry e da Amber - podemos finalmente seguir com a teoria.

SM Entertainment, a empresa da imagem impecável, a Disney do Kpop, Marina Silva em forma de empresa, teve enfim uma queda significativa no valor de suas ações e em contrapartida temos a YG Entertainment, a empresa de pior nome, com mais polemicas, questões judiciais e idols problematicos de todo o kpop, além de um PUTA presidente descuidado, que estava com problemas bem mais limpos e simples, pelo menos até o momento.

Ambas as empresas precisavam de um pequeno “tapete” para cobrir e esconder a poeira suja de seu ano conturbado, agradar os fãs e causar um leve alvoroço que tomasse uma proporção maior do que os acontecimentos recentes. Qual é a única coisa que fãs de kpop levam mais em conta do que as agendas de compromissos e acusações criminosas? NAMORO! Sabemos que o fandom kpopper é OBCECADO por relacionamentos e “shipps” de idols!

Kai, com o namoro, poderia contornar os boatos a respeito de sua sexualidade e também as FALSAS acusações de pedofilia. Jennie, com o namoro, justificaria a decisão de hiatus para o BlackPink e ainda causaria uma impressão de filiação da YG com a SM que daria uma “limpada” na imagem da YG, já que sabemos que a maravilhosa Disney do kpop JAMAIS se envolveria com algo que pudesse manchar sua história de arco iris e ursinhos carinhosos. Então, o acordo foi o seguinte: anunciar JenKai pela Dispatch (empresa de midia fundada indiretamente por Lee Soo Man para que sempre tivesse a sua disposição um veiculo da imprensa que jogasse as cartas ao seu favor - falo disso depois também), acabar com os boatos prejudiciais do momento, justificar um hiatus como se fosse uma medida diciplinar contra Jennie e promover o programa de games do EXO - que rendeu uma enorme quantia de visualizações para a dona senhora SM.

Ou seja, funcionou... Todo o jogo de manipulação empresarial deu mais do que certo!!! Porque, mesmo sem contar com isso, as empresas receberam um apoio extraordinário das fãs que acreditaram em todos os indicios de que este relacionamento era real. Logo, a SM conseguiu um espaço para falar sobre o caso de acusações de plágio e isso também foi resolvido, mas o YG não ficou para trás e acertou as contas com os fãs, explicando a respeito dos comentários apagados e fazendo um pedido de desculpas publico ao SeungRi, V.I.Ps e aos blinks.

Mas porque isso chegou ao fim? Veja na próxima publicação “SM vs YG - A Verdade sobre JenKai (parte 2)” o que levou a SM a cortar laços com a YG e definiu o real motivo para o fim do namoro JenKai.

When I visited the Kennedy Space Center earlier this year I had a thrilling surprise. When I had scheduled my trip, there weren't any launches scheduled this day. But during my visit, I found out that one of the United States Space Force rockets had been delayed and was launching that evening. A benefit of traveling solo and on your own is that I can be very flexible and decide at any moment what I want to do. So obviously I decided to stay for the launch. Even then, it was delayed for over an hour that evening while some storm clouds blew through. All I can say is WOW! It really was thrilling being my first rocket launch. Even though I was about 7 miles away it was definitely still loud enough. Not unbearably loud by any means, but loud enough. There wasn't nearly as much ultra low frequency (bass) as I expected, but still powerful. I had trouble planning for pictures and running low on camera battery. Given the distance I expected to get it in frame better, but due to delays and angles, the rocket was quite a ways up before I knew it. I had hoped to have the NASA logo sign fully in frame (the blue ball at the bottom), but I had the wrong lens to make it work and no time to change. So I got the pics I got, learned for next time (if ever that comes), and thoroughly enjoyed the experience all the same. . Jul 2022 .
